About the role

This role will support the development of processes that enable clinicians to deliver comprehensive care across West Moreton Health (WMH) in accordance with the actions outlined in the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standard 5 – Comprehensive Care.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage priorities, and respond effectively to emergent issues.
  • Operative knowledge of the NSQHS Standard 5: Comprehensive Care, expressing key strategies that could be undertaken to achieve effective comprehensive care practices across WMH.
  • Ability to use clinical information and other relevant information technology systems to support decision making, conduct surveillance and facilitate quality improvement strategies.
  • Flexibility and willingness to rapidly adapt to meet the needs of the service and stakeholders in a complex and challenging environment.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team to gain trust, support others, constructively negotiate, and respect differences. 

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16(PDF) ( https://www.health.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0009/150120/hed-0116.pdf )
