This Hospital and Department of General Medicine are seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for Staff Specialist – General Medicine vacancies.  Looking for experienced and enthusiastic Staff Specialists passionate about practicing holistic general medicine, teaching and mentoring junior medical staff, and contributing to quality improvement in a growing general medicine department.

The Hospital

Staff specialists are actively involved in the training of basic and advanced physician trainees and the supervision of international medical graduates. Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
  • Hold registration with AHPRA and possess a minimum of 12 months recent experience in Gastroenterology.
  • Be enrolled in the RACP training program.
  • Possess the FRACP qualification.
  • Be an IMG eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway from the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, or NZ.
  • Be an IMG with an upcoming RACP interview date.
  • Have been assessed by RACP and deemed substantially comparable.
