About us:

Nutrition and Dietetics Services deliver care throughout the hospital departments and outpatient clinics, as well as in community based and rural services. High quality services are provided across the care continuum to client/patient groups across Gladstone, Biloela, Emerald, Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton regions. The Nutrition and Dietetics services also: provide education and training placements to undergraduate and post graduate students.

About the role:

This position works as a member of a team to deliver contemporary high-quality nutrition and dietetics clinical services (appropriate with level of experience) to Central Queensland Health patients and to other stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS). This position also contributes to service development, education, and research.

About you:

Mandatory qualification/s: The successful applicant must hold a tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institution providing eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia and Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status.

  • The successful applicant must participate in and ensure compliance with credentialing and defining scope of clinical practice processes for Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).

Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, post graduate qualifications in relevant practice area/s are highly desirable.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $128,706 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $42.40 - $56.89 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
