Your Opportunity:
As the Project Manager for Gold Coast Digital Partnership Team, you will ensure that the portfolio of projects is managed as a group and that conflicting demands, prioritisation of work and resource needs are determined based on organisational objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support risk and issue identification, assessment and mitigation activities by ensuring risks and issues are documented, reviewed and escalated as appropriate.
  • Ensure portfolio and project planning, scheduling and monitoring of performance is reported using the appropriate tools and processes including reporting of project related trends and performance against project plans and budgets.
  • Ensure all aspects of the project portfolio and project meetings, workshops and documentation are maintained and tracked across a broad range of projects and geographic areas.
  • Ensure the delivery of projects and engagements with external organisations for the supply and delivery of services and supplies are appropriately managed.
  • Enable informed decision making on project issues by developing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers for project stakeholders.

Are you right for this role?

  • Demonstrated project portfolio and project management skills and experience through all stages of portfolio and project life cycle, with the ability to design medium-large scale projects.  
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge and expertise of project portfolio and project support including the ability to lead, manage and mentor project teams, including the provision of support and guidance on portfolio, programme and project management processes, tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management and external suppliers delivering products or services into projects or a portfolio of projects.
  • High level communication skills (oral and written) to effectively liaise consult and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to design systems which meet business and user needs or translate logical designs into physical designs.
