The Facility
The facility covers the diverse population living in the region. It is a major referral hospital and level 1 trauma centre.

• Accredited for both Emergency Medicine and Paediatric Emergency Medicine training by ACEM. 
• Highly regarded across the state for its excellent teaching and clinical supervision. 
• ACEM trainees can fulfill paediatric requirements with 3 or 6-month rotations to the PED.
• Education and training are a key focus in this Emergency Department. 
• Simulation-based learning is strongly emphasised

The Requirements

• TS1-TS4 ACEM trainees, or equivalent in an alternative training program (e.g. FRACGP, FRACP, ACRRM or International Emergency Medicine training program).
• International applicants: PGY 3 + medical practitioners who are eligible to be registered with AHPRA. You must have successfully completed the AMC 2 (Clinical exam) or meet the criteria for provisional registration via the Competent Authority pathway.
