The role  
In this role, you will apply your expert knowledge and practical skills to develop and manage tools that facilitate comprehensive, accurate, and timely reporting of telehealth-related information. This includes conducting appropriate information analysis to support robust telehealth service planning, identifying opportunities for service expansion, and informing the implementation of initiatives. You will provide expert advice on the funding of telehealth services and contribute to the setting of Key Performance Indicators and incentive funding programs. Your leadership in designing and implementing information processing and reporting systems, as well as developing key data definitions and standards, will ensure consistent business intelligence and promote reporting capability.

Maintaining knowledge and awareness of Queensland Health information priorities, specialised hospital applications, and the organisational information environment, you will manage relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to actively promote telehealth services as a viable model of care delivery, influencing their adoption. Additionally, you will execute other duties as directed by the Manager, Director, or Executive Director within the Healthcare Improvement Unit as necessary. You will fulfill the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, ensuring high-quality and impactful telehealth services.

The successful person
To excel in this role, you should possess proven expertise in the reporting and analysis of healthcare information. A solid understanding of Queensland healthcare information systems, data standards, and funding models is essential.

Furthermore, you should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to proactively identify and implement practical and innovative solutions. Effective communication skills, along with interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities, are crucial. The ability to foster productive working relationships and networks will also be key to your success.
