About you:

In your new role you will…

About your opportunity:

In this position you will deliver direct nursing care at an advanced level, within a specific area of expertise whilst providing education, support, and supervision to all levels of nurses within SOAU. The Clinical Nurse shall maintain and impart the core values of Queensland Health. There is an educational and portfolio requirement to this position.

About your role:

  • Provide effective and efficient clinical care in the area of clinical specialty and work in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care.
  • Accountable for own decisions/actions, behaviours and standards including monitoring and evaluating activities delegated to others.
  • Accurately conducts comprehensive and systematic assessments, analysing information and data and takes action based on this information communicating outcomes as the basis for practice.
  • Applies theoretical and practical knowledge and skills and evidence-based guidelines based on established body of professional precedents, to a range of nursing/midwifery activities to achieve agreed client goals.
