About the role

Fixed-term temporary full time opportunity to provide services in Medical Oncology for patients at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and affiliated centres, promote and participate in clinical Medical Oncology research activities, and participate in teaching.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Suitable candidates may be offered a conjoint appointment with The Queensland Institute of Medical Research.
  • Maintain high standards of service in oncology.
  • Act as a fellow at Royal Brisbane Hospital (including the Prince Charles Hospital and North Lakes campus) and provide services in Medical Oncology to inpatients and outpatients as directed by the Director of Medical Oncology in accordance with the mission and goals of the Hospital.
  • Serve in one or more specialised clinics in the Division of Oncology and serve on multidisciplinary clinics and services for the management of cancer patients.
  • Perform general clinical duties.
