About you: 

You are an administration professional with demonstrated high level organisational skills including management and prioritisation of tasks and teamwork, high level of communication skills, both written and verbal, negotiation and interpersonal skills in the management and support of a multidisciplinary environment, including the ability to provide training support and demonstrated change management skills and ability to initiate new strategies in a continuous Quality Improvement / Best Practice Environment for administrative issues.

Your opportunity:

Develop and implement the administrative and support processes and procedures for the Diabetes service. Work as part of the Integrated Medicine, Child and Youth Services business team to develop and implement administrative and business support processes and procedures. The role will provide expert, timely and proactive business advice, and support for the Diabetes service Team Leader.

Your role: 

  • Support the Diabetes Service in ensuring the qualitative and quantitative reporting requirements for the Service are met.
  • Proactively coordinate information management and reporting in relation to information systems used by the Diabetes Service
  • Collation and reporting of monthly Diabetes Service outputs from all streams to ensure service targets are met and within budget.
  • Management of out-patient clinic bookings and proficient use of ESM
  • Act as clinical data recorder super user for Decision Support Systems (DSS) and other databases utilised by the Diabetes Services.
