The role:  
You will be responsible for providing authoritative and influential advice to the Project Managers, Project team members and other stakeholders on testing governance and reporting, identification of risks and opportunities, change management and issue mitigation strategies. You will also be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of the test strategy and approach framework, ensuring quality and assurance standards and alignment to the strategic direction of the branch.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Testing team, accelerating the performance of the team, providing professional support, coaching and direction to team members and determining resource allocation, priorities and quality standards for the team. You will also direct and manage the planning of system, acceptance, integration and performance for the Clinical and Critical application projects comprised of ieMR solutions integrated with upstream and downstream systems utilizing the  HL7 with associated critical dependent systems, to ensure the successful delivery of the solution.

Is this opportunity for you?
To be successful in the role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in the definition, management and planning of all testing activities within a large, complex IM/ICT Branch and/or Program
  • You will also have demonstrated experience in the management of all phases of testing, including plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables and auditability for large, complex IM/ICT program/project(s)
  • Significant experience, knowledge and understanding across iEMR in particular within Queensland Health along with the testing framework and methodology of Queensland Health
  • You will also have demonstrated stakeholder relationship management skills, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of required IM/ICT outcomes.
