About you:

In your new role you will…

  • Demonstrate the ability to design and develop user-friendly and intuitive UX/UI experiences, considering user feedback and industry standards, integrating visual design and branding into solutions.
  • Prepare design options for the working environment of methods, procedures, techniques, tools, and people.
  • Maintain application support processes and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will contribute to our holistic approach to managing information assets and business processes throughout their entire lifecycle to enable our organisations Knowledge Management strategy. Utilise your skills in software development, human centred design, and analytical thinking.

About your role:

  • Develop complex model structures and provide quality assurance around these for others in the software development team to ensure solutions are maintainable and comply with performance requirements. Ensure that the provided solution architecture covers all parts of software design requirements and that full stack development needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain standards for software development to ensure consistency and maintainability of completed applications and compliance with QH standards. Staying up to date with best practice, delivering to best practice.
  • Work in a small team of assigned officers to analyse and rectify incidents/issues in production applications; to develop, test and implement application enhancements; interact with other service providers to ensure application support service levels are achieved.
  • Plan, develop and maintain effective processes and relationships for providing technical support for production issues to ensure a coordinated approach with Operations staff for the processing of production software issues. Analyse performance of development & production environments; recommend performance tuning to improve stability and performance of these environments and developed applications.
