About the role:

Programmed Health Professionals are seeking qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Personal Care Assistants to join our team for ongoing casual work with our residential aged care clients in the inner east & south-east suburbs, including Carnegie, Caulfield and Windsor. Some shifts can be booked in advance but many are on-call.

In this role you will be required to provide personal care to assistance to residents, assist them with their daily living and lifestyle activities. You will demonstrate an understanding of culturally diverse environments with a warm and personal approach. You must show initiative, work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility to workplace demands.

Ability to speak Russian, Polish, Hebrew, Yiddish highly desirable, not essential.


Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in Residential Aged Care (evidence of recent 1,975 hours)
  • Certificate lll or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Home & Community Care or Disability
  • NDIS worker screening (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of COVID-19 and flu vaccinations
  • Drivers Licence and your own registered vehicle
  • Available for ongoing and on-call weekday shifts
