About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to lead and coordinate the resources and activities of Metro North Hospital and Health Service Retail Services, ensuring effective, efficient and profitable quality hospitality services are provided to clients and stakeholders.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Daily management of Retail Services function to ensure a high quality, customer focussed service is delivered across all outlets.
  • Monitor, manage and review achievements against allocated budgets, key performance indicators and Queensland Health benchmarks and generate revenue to an agreed budget.
  • Provide leadership, training and mentoring to staff to build a motivated team equipped with the capability to deliver a customer focussed service and foster a culture of transparency, innovation and high performance.
  • Lead, develop and support team members to ensure customer service standards are effectively communicated and consistently implemented and to ensure that staff are supported in a way that encourages development and achievement.
