About us:

This role sits under the Manager Commercial Services who is responsible for managing a variety of key programs and projects for the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) including commercial and residential leasing, staff accommodation, patient and staff travel, fleet and telecommunications and waste and water quality. 

About the role:

Manage and coordinate the operations of the Hospital and Health Service (HHS) Support Service travel requirements and ensure the provision of a quality, customer-focused and cost-effective service in accordance with the relevant CQHHS and Queensland Health policies.

  • Understand your accountability to uphold the principles and practices of the Health Service's Health and Safety Management System in accordance with legislation and industry standards. As a supervisor actively promote good health and safety practices to staff of your work area.
  • Provide leadership and staff training, including knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of travel policies and procedures, to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

About you:

  • Demonstrated high level knowledge in relation to the administration and application of information systems, data bases and contemporary software packages.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow and apply financial procedures and processes relating to travel.
  • Ability to apply management expertise in travel, including a clear understanding of the process of risk management in the purchasing of travel within the requirements of the Queensland Health system.
  • Demonstrated ability or ability to rapidly acquire the skill to provide training and guidance to less experienced staff members.

What we offer:

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $44,340 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $44.47 - $49.00 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
