The role  
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, Professional Capability, you will support the Professional Capability program team in program-related activities and assist in the continuous improvement and quality assurance in implementing projects and programs of work which assist and support the Queensland Health nursing and midwifery workforce. You will monitor and report project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules, as well as monitor and report on project activities and progress to ensure alignment with corporate goals and to ensure deadlines are achieved. Furthermore, you will provide timely advice to senior management on specific issues relating to projects, and liaise and work with stakeholder networks both internal and external and facilitate effective communications acting as secretariat as required.

The successful person
You will have experience in stakeholder relationships, communication and negotiation skills to facilitate and support project outcomes. You will have knowledge of program and project methodologies and tools. You will have proven effective high level written and oral communication skills including the ability to prepare high quality documentation, accurate reports and project communications. You will have the ability to maintain momentum and drive projects through all phases of the project life cycle, applying project management and change management methodologies. Additionally, you will have the ability to deliver outcomes and manage competing work priorities to meet agreed deadlines and commitments.
