About the role:

The Allied Health – Advanced (Acute) clinician will utilise advanced level clinical skills in at least one area of Allied Health practice, as well as extended skills across a range of Allied Health disciplines to provide day to day clinical leadership in the interdisciplinary delivery of Allied Health services across Emergency, Acute Medical and Surgical, Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation continuum of care for patients and families within CQHHS.

About you:

Mandatory qualification/s: Mandatory possession of an Allied Health qualification from a registered tertiary institution.

Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate is essential, or for members of non-registered and self-regulated professions, eligibility for professional membership of the relevant professional association.

Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role would be well regarded.

  • Advanced-level knowledge, expertise, and skills in at least one area of Allied Health practice.
  • Ability to apply evidence-based principles to facilitate novel, complex, and multidisciplinary clinical decisions in the best interest of Allied Health services.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $167,588 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $70.99 - $74.07 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements:

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
