Allied health work closely with medical, nursing, technical and operational colleagues, and community partners to optimise patient recovery and well-being. The Allied Health – Advanced (Acute) clinician will utilise advanced level clinical skills in at least one area of Allied Health practice, as well as extended skills across a range of Allied Health disciplines to provide day to day clinical leadership in the interdisciplinary delivery of Allied Health services across Emergency, Acute Medical and Surgical, Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation continuum of care for patients and families within CQHHS.
Mandatory qualification/s: Mandatory possession of an Allied Health qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate is essential, or for members of non-registered and self-regulated professions, eligibility for professional membership of the relevant professional association.
Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role would be well regarded.
