The role  
•    Lead and implement innovative education and training strategies to enhance the rural and remote health workforce.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure sustainable service delivery and standardised education programs across rural Queensland.
•    Drive system improvement and change management initiatives to expand and improve education and training opportunities for rural health professionals.
•    Provide expert advice and support to the Office of Rural and Remote Health on policy development, research, and educational opportunities.

The successful person
You will have:
•    Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to assess, develop, and implement innovative educational strategies promoting continuous learning and development in rural healthcare. Proven project management expertise to ensure efficient project delivery.
•    Innovative Educational Leadership: Proven ability to develop and implement innovative, evidence-based, and pedagogically sound education and training programs in a digital environment, while effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders to enhance and standardise education across rural Queensland. 
•    Policy and research: Experience in policy and procedure development, research, and facilitating educational opportunities for rural health professionals, to drive research initiatives and implement policy changes effectively.
•    Change management proficiency: Demonstrated experience in driving system improvement initiatives and change management to enhance the quality and scope of education and training for the rural health workforce.
•    Mentorship and support: Commitment to providing guidance and assistance to education professionals in the development and implementation of training courses in rural and remote areas.
•    Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and/or possession of a current annual licence certificate are mandatory.
