The Health Information Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Corporate Information Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

Provide effective and efficient Corporate Records Management to the Mackay Hospital and Health Service. Contribute to the overall maintenance of the MHHS electronic Document and Records Management System (eDRMS). And provide high-level advice and assistance to end-users throughout the MHHS on a daily basis. Creating purchase requisitions and reservations (in accordance with Queensland Health's procurement standards and regulations), processing goods receipts, raising general purchase vouchers and journals to assist the HIS team.

About the Team

Health Information Services (HIS) provides specialist services that embrace the overall commitment to the management and provision of quality patient information to the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.

The service is comprised of the following key areas: Health Information Management, Clinical Coding, Data Quality, Information Access, Scanning Unit, Medical Typing, Corporate Records, Mail Room and the Switchboard. HIS reports to the Executive Director Corporate Services.
