The Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist – Senior requires low levels of supervision, provides training to registrars, new staff members and other professional groups within the RO department.  

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Display a high level of knowledge of Radiation Oncology Medical Physics.
• Display a high level of independence in decision making and professional judgement for the planning of non-routine radiation treatments.
• Apply independent judgment to routine clinical practices in line with scientific principles.
• Maintain the high levels of inverse plan treatments delivered at SCUH through the use of efficient patient specific QA practices.

Remuneration value up to $12,731 p.m., comprising salary between $4,769.60- $5,132.40 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed term temporary full time position available for six months).
