The Location:
Our client is a leading regional hospital based in a university town within a couple of hours drive from Melbourne. The town offers a friendly relaxed lifestyle & excellent shopping, education, sporting & recreational facilities. An added benefit is the close proximity to the wineries, Murray River region & Victorian Ski Fields. The region offers a wide choice of living, city, rural, small towns or a farming environment.

The Hospital:
Our client is a 650-bed hospital that functions as a major hospital within Victoria. Employing over 3400 people making it the largest employer in the region.

The Role:
ICU is accredited for Foundation and 6 months of Core Intensive Care Medicine Training (C6 accreditation) under the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM).  Six-month positions may be considered in exceptional circumstances. 

The position offers a great opportunity to learn and develop. You will be working with experienced consultants who have many years of experience passing on their knowledge. This is also a feeder location for the Melbourne based Tertiary Hospitals.

  • Either hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
  • For on shore doctors have at least 6 months ICU experience
  • For overseas doctors have at least 24 months ICU experience
  • Have a significant interest in building your career in Intensive Care Medicine
