About the role:

Aligned with achieving the objectives of the CQHHS Health Equity Strategy 2022-2025, this role will contribute to the delivery of high level, culturally responsive care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families by providing administrative and clinical assistance to the Senior Allied Health Clinician (Children and Families) in their day-to-day clinical duties. This role works under the supervision and direction of the Senior Allied Health Clinician and undertakes only those clinical tasks delegated to them.

About you:

Mandatory qualification/s: Nil

Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a Certificate IV – Allied Health Assistant would be well regarded.

  • Ability to apply knowledge in Allied Health, such as knowledge of the healthcare system, computer literacy, medical terminology, general medical conditions, and basic anatomy.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander individuals, family and communities, and networking with other services and health professionals.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $79,736 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $33.52 - $35.24 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
