Community Diversion Programs (CDP) is seeking a Clinical Nurse to practice autonomously and provide leadership in clinical decision making at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse Standards for Practice.
Community Diversion Programs (CDP) consists of a comprehensive network of community-based programs designed to offer structured support, therapeutic interventions, and intensive case management for individuals facing alcohol and other substance use issues, along with associated mental health concerns. The primary goal of CDP is to assist consumers in overcoming these challenges.
Additionally, CDP collaborates with various referring partners to provide a valuable service. Referrals are received from organizations such as the Department of Justice and Attorney General (DJAG), Court Link, Queensland Community Corrections, Queensland Police's Vulnerable Persons Unit (VPU), and Nambour AODS Central Intake Team.
In summary, CDP strives to empower individuals dealing with substance use and mental health issues through a range of community-based programs, while maintaining strong relationships with our referring partners to ensure comprehensive support and effective collaboration in facilitating successful outcomes.
Your key responsibilities
Remuneration value up to $131,900 p.a., comprising salary between $107,960 - $115,604 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1).
