About us:

Mount Morgan MPHS is a rural service 40 kms from the main referring centre of Rockhampton. It is an integrated service within a modern building servicing a total of 20 inpatient beds: 10 Acute and 10 Residential, two Emergency resuscitation bays, and multiple consultation rooms. It provides a wide range of services including Emergency, general Outpatient Department including wound care clinic, acute general Inpatient, Aged Care and Community Health, co-located General Practice, and visiting Podiatry, Dietitian, Optometrist, Dental and more.

About the role:

The Enrolled Nurse performs the role in the context of a rural service under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivering safe, competent, evidence-based nursing care and will be supported to practice at the height of scope within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice.

About you:

Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.

• Knowledge of and a demonstrated commitment to quality processes and evidence-based practices, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to these improvements.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills that support competent nursing practice, delegation and supervision of Enrolled Nurses/Assistants in Nursing and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Total remuneration value of up to $86,259 p.a.is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $35.92 - $38.12 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
• 17.5% leave loading

Salary information: (Casual)

Total salary of:

• An hourly rate between $44.18 - $46.89 p.h. (Including 23% casual loading)
