About the role

Fixed term temporary full time opportunity for 11 months.

  • The purpose of the role is to provide strategic, operational leadership and direction in the day-to-day management of Support Services (Patient Support Services, Protective Services and Administration) across Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals ensuring high standards of safety for staff, clients and visitors through compliance with the MNHHS policies.
  • Lead Facility and Support Services' staff by promoting a customer service culture, quality improvement ethos, maintaining awareness of contemporary industry practices and technologies including ACHS and National Standards and by establishing project implementation rigor and best practice.
  • Work collaboratively with peers as a member of the Caboolture Hospital Leadership team to effectively manage Facility and Support Services.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Lead the development of a healthy workplace and values-driven culture throughout the hospital, contributing to a high performing culture across Metro North Health.
  • Develop strong relationships/partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including other Metro North Directorates and Industrial partners.
  • Implement and direct change management and project management strategies and activities as required.
  • Drive the key strategic framework, policies and processes necessary to ensure that budget management, financial policy, systems and controls are met to ensure operational performance across Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals
  • Provide timely advice to the Facility Services Director to develop strategic and operational plans and initiatives, and the management of organisational change to ensure a continuous quality improvement framework.
