The role 

Join our team to play a pivotal role in managing a variety of workplace relations matters, initiatives, and projects, including enterprise bargaining negotiations, dispute resolution, and emergent issues. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, processes, and internal controls for certified agreement review projects, ensuring efficient delivery. Coordinating project timelines, budgets, finances, and technical aspects will be key to achieving milestones within approved criteria and deadlines.

Your expertise will be crucial in providing strategic advice, preparing reports, submissions, briefing notes, ministerial correspondence, and policy documentation to support project decision-making. Additionally, you will oversee, monitor, and report on project progress, analyzing performance trends and offering advice on potential mitigation strategies.

The successful person

You will have demonstrated:

  • Proven track record in managing competing priorities to deliver high-quality work promptly and accurately for diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in problem identification, analysis, and implementation of remedial strategies with initiative and accountability.
  • Proficiency in preparing, monitoring, and reporting on program/project budgets, with a clear understanding of pressures affecting the HPDO3 certified agreement review projects timetable.
  • Active participation in a work environment that upholds core values and promotes quality human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety, and ethical behavior.
