About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to Provide leadership in the planning, implementation, and review of a comprehensive range service functions ensuring the business and operational requirements of the service are met in an environment of change and development and provide advice and assistance to all stakeholders.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • On behalf of the Clinical Director and Assistant Nursing Director and within level of authority, liaise, facilitate, direct, negotiate and request information, responses and/or seek resolutions from Senior Managers, Executive Directors, and other Hospital and Health Service (HHS) staff across multi-faceted issues as required to ensure efficient service management and coordination.
  • Provide leadership and management in accordance with MNH strategic and operational planning priorities to meet the needs of all services. Build and sustain positive relationships with all team members.
  • Manage direct reports consisting of A03 and A04 administrative staff, develop staff competencies and succession planning, recommending and/or implementing appropriate training programs and personal development programs.
