Principal Project Officer, Baby Coming You Ready

The role  
Reporting to the Director of Midwifery, OCMwO. Your role will be responsible for the development and maintenance of project documentation as well as providing advice to support the initiation and progression of the Baby Coming, You Ready pilot project.

The Baby Coming, You Ready pilot aims to enhance culturally appropriate screening of women birthing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander babies through the trialing of the Baby Coming, You Ready Program in selected Queensland public health facilities.

The successful person
You will have demonstrated: 
•    Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined above.
•    Develop program documentation including integration of available aligned activities, resources, and tools and progress activities within agreed times.
•    Use a project management framework encompassing clear planning, communication and governance processes for effective project outcomes.
•    Use standard procurement processes and comply with Queensland Health governance requirements and identify any opportunities to improve those processes. Support development, implementation, and management of contracts.
•    Develop and progress relevant Human Research Ethics Committee applications as required.
