About the role

Temporary part time opportunity to provide gynaecological cancer services to the women of Queensland who are referred to the The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH). Assist in providing support for referring hospitals/clinicians and develop and promote research within the Gynaecologic Oncology unit.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Take clinical responsibility for the medical/oncological care of an allocated group of patients referred to the RBWH, Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
  • To provide high level inpatient, outpatient, surgical and oncall services for RBWH - Women's and Newborn Services (WNS) patients.
  • To advise referring hospital staff as required on the care and management of patients with or suspected of having gynaecological malignancy or pre-malignancy.
  • To participate in hospital educational activities.
