The role 

Reporting to the Director, Policy Partnering and Systems Application. You role will be responsible for leading the implementation of industrial instruments within corporate systems and to strengthen governance structures, driving compliance outcomes across all levels of Queensland Health's Employment Framework.

The role is responsible for planning, overseeing and co-designing the implementation of legislative and industrial change requirements across payroll and rostering systems.

The successful person

You will have demonstrated:

  • Fulfils the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined above.
  • Adheres to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of state wide business change projects and monitoring compliance across the integration of legislative, industrial and policy changes into Queensland Health's corporate systems.
  • Monitor, review and evaluate performance measures including the clear and thorough interpretation of industrial relations instruments, business change requirements, processes, procedures and adherence to policies, including the ability to develop recommendations to improve efficiencies, enhance outcomes, reduce organisational risk and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare, analyse and provide strategic advice, support and recommendations on complex, and sensitive documentation including briefings on system integration strategies, risk mitigation plans, project plans and policy/discussion documents, as well as the development of correspondence, business cases and performance reporting.
