The Manager – Asset & Maintenance Services in the Supply Chain branch reports to the Director, Group Linen Services. The roles primary function is to ensure all associated plant, equipment and maintenance workforce within Linen Services production facilities is managed, serviced and maintained. 

About the Supply Chain Surety Branch:

Supply Chain is a branch in Corporate Services Division (CSD) supporting the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHS), Queensland Health. The branch is comprised of functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Supply Chain Services, Central Pharmacy, Linen Services and Operations. This branch brings together an end-to-end supply chain management function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director.

What we are looking for:

  •  Proven experience in management/leadership of assets in a production facility (or similar application).
  •  Proven experience in management/leadership of maintenance workforce.
  •  Experience in financial management and reporting
  •  High level communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Working knowledge of asset management, maintenance management or facilities management qualifications would be advantageous
  •  Knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge, of Statutory Acts, Regulations and Australian Standards applicable to Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services as applied to Queensland Health
