About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to provide nursing/midwifery team support and undertake the nursing/midwifery care under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse/midwife to support consumer/person centred care.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Assist in the provision of nursing and midwifery team support and undertake delegated actions in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Decision Making Framework.
  • Respond appropriately and report sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/person to the Registered Nurse/Midwife.
  • Function in accordance with legislation when undertaking activities as delegated to provide an environment and care that is safe and relevant for individuals and groups.
  • Contribute to the effective functioning MNMH-RBWH in the provision of safe quality care
