The Facility There are two main facilities. In recent years the Hospital has undergone a major redevelopment totalling in excess of $50 million. The redevelopment has delivered new beds and improved services so you will be working with access to superior treatment and case management services. The hospital is a 200+ bed facility and caters to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.
The Position As the General Medicine Registrar you will be responsible for managing the care of patients in consultation with the Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professional. Working in this busy, state of the art public hospital Medicine Department you will enjoy lots of consultant and senior medical officer support so it is great place to learn and develop.
The Requirements To apply you will need to have completed one of the following:
Should hold General Registration with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience working within General Medicine
General Medicine experience working in a Competent Authority country and eligible for the CA Pathway (NZ, USA, Ireland, UK, Canada)
IMG's that have completed the AMC MCQ (part 1)
IMG's assessed by RACP and deemed partially or substantially comparable
Positions commencing late 2023 & beginning of clinical year February 2024.
Pay Competitive remuneration package value up to $173,972 dependent on experience.
