RCR Mining Technologies has a rewarding career opportunity for aHSE Advisor to join our BunburyWorkshop .

In this role your responsibilities willinclude:

  • Actively engaging with stakeholders to educate and build apositive safety culture
  • Providing advice, support and assistance to stakeholders onthe implementation of Safety, Health and Environmentalinitiatives and legislative compliance requirements
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance by all employees,contractors and visitors on RCR sites to internal HSE policiesand procedures
  • Providing immediate support for incident investigations,follow-up on closeout actions and liaising with relevantstakeholders regarding incidents
  • Completing and reviewing onsite Safety Inspections andAudits to ensure compliance to RCR’s Safety andEnvironment Management systems
  • Participating in creating, mentoring, reviewing andproviding feedback on Risk Assessment processes
  • Assisting the Health & Wellbeing Specialist with injurymanagement cases.
  • Reviewing and creating HSE documentation to ensurecontinuous compliance and accuracy is maintained
  • Compiling data for Health and Safety reports, identifyingtrends and opportunities for improvement.

To be considered for this position, you willneed:

  • A Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role inthe Manufacturing or Process industry
  • A working knowledge of the Australian WHS legislation suchas Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practise and Guidance notestogether with experience in completing internal WHS inspectionsand audits
  • An Incident Investigation certification (e.g., ICam), FirstAid certificate and a current class C Drivers Licence
  • Strong computer proficiency with an intermediate MS Officeskill level and experience with using Safety platforms (e.g.,MYOSH or SAI360)
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment supportingcompeting priorities from multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong engagement, communication and influencing skills,with the ability to proactively support leaders across thebusiness value chain.
