The role 

Reporting to the Business Manager. Your role will be responsible for providing the administrative and business needs of the Branch. Business Support Officers also assist Management in ensuring correct processes are followed that comply with policy and legislation.

Further the position is to assist, contribute, support and provide effective client-focussed financial, human resource and administrative services for clients of the Branch.

The successful person

You will have demonstrated:

  • Provide effective administrative and business support in relation to the operations of the branch by coordinating and maintaining assets, accounts payable and purchasing activities.
  • Contribute to budget management for the branch/division by monitoring and reviewing budget activity and supporting the senior business positions as required.
  • Assist where required in branch correspondence and communications. Provide administrative services to fulfil the needs of the branch, maintaining central email accounts, communicating financial reporting deadline updates and information to the business and administration staff on a regular basis and collating, creating and maintaining monthly and quarterly registers and resolve any outstanding issues efficiently.
  • Assist the senior business staff with the monthly and quarterly reporting processes, collating reports, analysing financial transactions, reviewing GL accounts and processing journals
  • Assist with preparing monthly and ad hoc financial reports for stakeholders that is relevant and timely for decision making purposes
