The role  
Reporting to the Director, Office of the Chief Midwife Officer, CEQ. Your role will be responsible for leading, facilitating and supporting  the coordination and management of multiple complex projects and activities across the Division that support the provision of quality care on behalf of Clinical Excellence Queensland, to support the Deputy Director-General, Clinical Excellence Queensland, the Director-General and Minister.

The successful person
You will have demonstrated: 
•    Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the Department of Health's core values
•    Lead and manage projects of significant scope and strategic importance within the Office of the Chief Midwife Officer  CEQ to facilitate and enable project delivery, including monitoring processes and reporting as required.
•    Proactively identify project risks and lead discussions with key stakeholders as to their appropriate management to ensure consistent and high quality outcomes are achieved in accordance with required timelines.
•    Identify and analyse the feasibility of innovative initiatives, policy, and strategies, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, as required to achieve the objective of the Chief Midwife Officers portfolio within CEQ.
•    Provide high level, authoritative advice (including to senior management) on complex sensitive and time critical matters relevant to the office, including the development  of complex briefings, documents, reports and cabinet submissions, with regard to the strategic context of the Department and Government's agenda.
