The Location
Situated a few hours' drive north of Brisbane this facility is situated in a large regional city in a beautiful coastal location. The city is large enough to have everything you would want in terms of infrastructure and facilities yet still maintains its country town charm and feel. It has a busy domestic airport so can be accessed easily from anywhere in Australia.

The Hospital
This is a modern 120 bed acute care surgical and medical facility that has recently expanded its critical care unit.

The Position
Working within the 9 bed critical care unit you will be providing registrar level care on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster. Perfect if you need free time to study!

The Offer
The salary is paid as an hourly rate with the annual package ranging to around $180,000. You have the choice of living locally or even travelling in and out every 7 days to work. If you take the latter option there accommodation will be provided during the days you are working.

The Requirements
To apply you must have at least 6 months ICU experience gained at registrar level in Australia and hold registration with AHPRA.
1. 2/3 Years experience post rotations
2. Ideally in an Emergency Department, ICU/Critical Care environment with some general medical officer experience.
3. Would consider VISA sponsorship
Must have procedural sedation experience, Current ALS, competent with PICC lines, ART Line, Intubation etc. Ability to manage a critically unwell patient with several years experience.
