About Supply Chain Branch

The Supply Chain Branch will provide a high-quality and resilient supply chain service to ensure our frontline healthcare workers can deliver effective patient care.

Your Role

Your role will be resposible for Maintaining facilities at a major complex at Richlands in line with the Queensland Government's Maintenance Management Framework (MMF), local management guidelines and procedures, Australian Standards and legislation. The complex comprises Queensland Health Central Pharmacy manufacturing and warehousing, and the SEQ Distribution Centre for the Shared Service Partner. Queensland Health's investment in plant and equipment at the site is in excess of $20 million.

The essential requirements for this role are:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing risk and management of building, engineering and maintenance services with a broad knowledge of relevant requirements of State and Local Authority Regulations, the Building Code of Australia, and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills, consultation and effective communication with personnel at all levels in the organisation, external organisations and professional groups in both the public and private sectors and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at sector and industry levels.
  • Demonstrated financial management skills and ability to effectively track and manage expenditure by applying business management tools to achieve outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, utilise discretion, meet deadlines, establish priorities and work effectively to successfully contribute to organisational objectives.
  • High level ability in the areas of planning, contract management and project management.
