About this opportunity:

Programmed Care are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team to provide ongoing critical nursing care to a female client living in Haberfield in Sydney's West. This client is a ventilated quadriplegic in her 50s and requires 24/7 care.

The following shifts are currently available, with the potential for shifts on other days and overnights to also become available.

  • Tuesday 0700 to 1500
  • Friday 2230 to 0700
  • Sunday 2230 to 0700



Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ventilator Care
  • Medication administration
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Bowel care
  • Catheter care (SPC)
  • Manual handling
  • Personal care
  • Community access



Key requirements:

  • Current nursing registration from AHPRA
  • Experience with tracheostomy care
  • Experience working with high dependency patients in an acute, critical care or community setting
  • Be comfortable working in a home environment with a cat
  • Committed to working regular ongoing shifts
