About you:

In your new role you will…

  • Demonstrate ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, patients, families and other stakeholders, including participation in relevant networks to achieve work unit outcomes.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will provide clinical nursing care at an advanced level of service delivery and program facilitation and provides an early leadership role within the career pathway for nursing. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for a specific patient population and functions in complex situations while providing support and direction to other multidisciplinary staff within the team.

About your role:

  • Promotes cooperation, teamwork and understanding in undertaking generalist and/or specialist nursing practices for effective health outcomes.
  • Practice collaboratively and provide clinical leadership within the interdisciplinary health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
  • Run programs and clinical groups in coordination with the multidisciplinary team, such as Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and parent groups.
  • Provide clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research in conjunction with the NG 7 Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) and Team Leader.
