About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Reporting and Controls leader who is driven, focused and passionate about shaping the future of healthcare infrastructure.

As the Director of Reporting and Controls, you will be responsible for offering advice and support to the Senior Director of Program Performance in relation to reporting outputs and project control functions for capital investments.

You will effectively lead a team in the development and delivery of departmental reporting and analysis requirements and will lead in the provision of best practice program, project and financial controls based on governed change control frameworks.

You will also:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of strategic programs and project control functions ensuring alignment with policies, organisational business rules and best practice principles.
  • Manage the analysis and improvement of information processes to deliver high quality and timely reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist the Senior Director, Program Performance in assessing, tracking, and reporting on program and project performance, progress, and data quality/compliance.
  • Undertake high level analysis and investigation of complex business problems to identify priority improvements and system-based solutions.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the reporting and controls management team
  • Foster, and encourage a workplace environment that is outcomes focused and instil a culture of continuous improvement / learning through effective communication, training, and flexible workforce management practices.

The successful person

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar leadership role in a complex environment. You will be valued for your experience in the specialist area and your ability to manage team members. You will lead team leaders and/or multiple projects or areas of work, under broad direction from an executive or more senior program leader.
