The ideal candidate will have a strong background in phlebotomy and possess the necessary UAE qualifications to perform their duties effectively and safely.Key Responsibilities:--Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood samples for laboratory testing.--Label and process samples accurately to ensure proper identification and integrity.--Maintain patient confidentiality and provide exceptional patient care during the phlebotomy process.--Prepare and maintain phlebotomy equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.--Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.--Collaborate with medical and laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate test results.--Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding the phlebotomy process.--Keep detailed records of all specimens collected and procedures performed.--Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with the latest phlebotomy techniques and safety standards.Qualifications:--Certification as a Phlebotomist from a recognized institution.--Valid DHA/HAAD/MOH license to practice in the UAE.--Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist.--Proficiency in venipuncture and other phlebotomy techniques.--Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.--Good communication and interpersonal skills.--Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.--Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
