An opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join a dynamic team. Working within the Emergency department, you will provide emergency care services to patients as well as providing leadership to the department. You will bring with you expertise, a calm demeanour and willingness to teach and further develop you career.
The Facility: Covering a large geographic area, this health service, one of the largest employers in the region, provides frontline health services to 300,000 people. 160,000+ people present to the Emergency Departments and the service supports the birth of over 3,000 babies. Spanning over 29 facilities, the service includes one large regional referral hospital, one extended inpatient mental health service, three medium sized regional hub hospitals, twelve rural hospitals, three multipurpose health services, three community outpatient clinics and six residential aged care facilities. The Requirements:
To apply you must hold current registration or be eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
FACEMs or IMGs who have been assessed by ACEM and deemed Substantially Comparable will be considered.
