About the role

Due to an internal movement, we have a permanent full-time position based in Sydney/Newcastle for a motivated professional to join our Respiratory & Acute Care (RAC) team and contribute to the continued success of our business in NSW. The territory for this role will include Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle and other associated regional areas.

This is a dynamic sales role, that involves working in a variety of complex clinical settings. Our well-established sales team focuses on market development and education to drive adoption of Fisher & Paykel humidification technology into the ICU, Ward and ED environments.

You will be involved in promoting our humidification technology to improve care and outcomes through the hospital. Identifying and developing sites for evaluation of our products and developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders are critical to your success in this role. As a subject matter expert, you will provide education and high-level technical support to clinical teams to improve care and outcomes.

About you

You will need to have experience in a clinical environment, be resilient, adept in having robust clinical discussions, adaptable and keen to develop your clinical and sales knowledge. Additionally, proven sales experience in a medical / clinical environment with a strong relationship building skillset will be a definite advantage.

You may be from a nursing/healthcare/technical background and have a strong desire to enter a sales environment or you may already have some sales experience and can grasp and explain technical and clinical concepts. Either way, we will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this role. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence a wide range of people.

In order to succeed you will need to be a patient, persistent and passionate person and have a positive outlook despite challenging client interactions.
