About the role

We are expanding our team of nurses and looking for someone who is passionate about medicine to work alongside and learn from our highly skilled medicine team. Our medicine team provides a warm, friendly team environment that will provide you with ongoing learning and development opportunities.

Under the direction of the Referral Nurse Team Leader, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with our Internal Medicine Specialist, Registrars, Resident, and Intern to provide outstanding patient care. This includes monitoring patient anaesthesia, assisting with endoscopes, ultrasounds, chemotherapy, CT scans, X rays and caring for hospital patients.

This is a full-time position based on four-day week (Monday to Friday) with a 1 in 6 weekend rotation and public holiday as required.

About you

We are looking for committed, caring, and highly motivated nurses with strong clinical skills. To be considered for this position you will have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, experience working in referral medicine nursing, and a passion for in depth cases. The position would be well suited to nurses who demonstrate the following:
