Are you a Registered Nurse who is looking to work in Community Aged Care/Disability Care? If so, Right at Home Brisbane West is looking for a Full Time Registered Nurse to join our fast paced community organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Knowledge of Aged Care and Community Care Sector, Community Care Common Standards
• Proven ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and services for clients in the In-Home Community Care environment
• Ability to undertake holistic assessments and create risk informed person-centred care plans
• Experienced in wound care, medication management, continence care.

  About you

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Aged Care/Community Nursing including knowledge and understanding of Home Care Packages
  • Experience in Wound and Catheter care
  • Problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
  • Excellent written and verbal Communication skills 
  • A current Australian driver’s licence
  • Current National Police check
  • Current first aid and CPR certificate

• Bachelor of Nursing
• Current Registration with the AHPRA
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence 
• Current National Police check
• Current First aid and CPR certificate
• Blue Card or Willing to obtain. 

• Minimum 3 years experience in Aged Care/Community Nursing including knowledge and understanding of Home Care Packages (PREFERRED)
• Experience in Wound and Catheter care
• Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
• Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written
