Patient Care Coordinator – Radiation Oncology - Part-Time (10 am-5 pm, 3 days/week)

The Patient Care Coordinator in our Department of Radiation Oncology performs various clerical and receptionist duties. The candidate will greet patients, staff, visitors, and vendors and direct them to the proper location. You will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments, accurately and timely entering demographic information and uploading medical records for new patient visits, answering and routing calls, assisting the physician team, taking minutes at department meetings, retrieving patient medical or billing records, and obtaining diagnostic imaging authorization.

RequiredCriteria

  • Outstanding organizational, problem solving and communication skills necessary to ensure efficiency in attaining the department's goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
