As a Psychiatrist Consultant, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients.Job Overview:Conduct psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health conditionsDevelop individualized treatment plans for patients based on assessment findingsPrescribe and monitor medication regimensProvide psychotherapy and counselling to patientsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to provide comprehensive careMonitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as neededEducate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment optionsMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical recordsParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferencesRequirements : Minimum four (4) years’ experience in the relevant fieldMedical degree from an accredited universityCompletion of specialty training in psychiatryFull registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and inclusion on the Specialist Register for PsychiatryExcellent diagnostic and assessment skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred careWillingness to engage in continuous professional developmentExperience working as a Psychiatrist Consultant in a similar settingKnowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for various mental health conditionsApplication Process : To apply for this position, please submit your resume highlighting your qualifications and experience.
