The Women's and Children's Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Business Support Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

• To provide assistance and support to the Business Manager of Women's and Children's Services within the Mackay Health Service and deputising for the role of Manager where organisationally required.
• Provide leadership, management, and direction to the administration staff within the unit ensuring the delivery of such services in a professional and proficient manner whilst ensuring that operational effectiveness.

About the Team

The Women's and Children's Services stream encompasses inpatient and outpatient care for the; Obstetrics & Gynaecology ward and unit, Continuity of Care Midwifery (including group practice), Paediatrics ward and unit, Sexual Health community services, Child Protective Unit, Child and Youth Family Health and BreastScreen Queensland services. The stream works collaboratively and with a multidisciplinary approach to routine and complex models of care for women and children in the Mackay HHS catchment.
