Research Nurse - SpecialitiesPermanentBand 6 – 22.3 hours per week

We are looking for a nursing professional for an exciting and challenging research post that will be based in the Specialities Research Team at ARI. It would allow you to develop the research nurse skills required to deliver exceptional clinical research care to patients involved in research studies. You will be part of a well established team of research nurses.

You will assist in the delivery of direct/indirect care and treatments of those participating in research trials. This will include trial set up processes, recruitment, monitoring of study patients, collection of accurate data and liaising with data monitors. In addition the post holder will assist with the management of a small team. The main duties/responsibilities of the post will be in under the direction of the research team with additional guidance from the senior research nurse. 

Previous experience in research would be an advantage. However, consideration will be given to the right calibre of candidate with little or no previous experience, with a keen willingness to learn, in a developing role. The incumbent will require excellent communication skills, the ability to work flexibly in response to study challenges and be able to manage caseload appropriately to the highest standard expected within Research.
